Walker Smith is a South Carolina-based photographer working primarily in the documentary tradition.

Walker completed an M.A. in Visual Communication from Ohio University and was recently a photo intern for Post and Courier in Charleston, South Carolina. Walker’s work explores maritime operations and human interest stories in rural and coastal communities. When he’s not photographing, Walker can be found playing saxophone working on fishing boats in Alaska, or chasing sunset on a sailboat.
